Union HD72WC 60mm Satin Bathroom Lock BS EN 12209 with Radius Forend
The HD72 is a range of high quality lockcases from Union.
HD72 locks are designed and engineered to last longer, extending door hardware lifecycles and reducing maintenance and replacement costs. HD72 has exceeded 3.5 million cycles - 14 times greater than the industry standard, set by BS EN 12209
The full HD72 range has been designed with the same footprint for maximum user convenience, using the same case sizes for easier installation
Application uses
- For use in high frequency areas used by public or others with little incentive to exercise care and with a high chance of misuse
- Suitable for doors hinged on the left or the right

- European DIN style casing with 78mm centres and 60mm backset for use with privacy turn and emergency release
- 20mm Single throw deadbolt for ease of operation
- Durable latch follower technology successfully cycle tested to 3.5 million operations
- Quick reversible latch allows easy on-site handing
- Bathroom Follower: 8mm supplied with a 5mm adaptor piece

Operation
Bathroom lock function from the inside:
- Latch bolt withdrawn by lever handle
- Deadbolt locked and unlocked by operation of a privacy turn (privacy turn not included)
Bathroom lock function from the outside:
- Latch bolt withdrawn by lever handle
- In case of an emergency the deadbolt can be unlocked by operation of an emergency release with a coin operation (emergency release not included)
