Description
Exitex Surface Mounted Intumescent Self Adhesive Strip with Brush 1/2 HR 5.2m Roll
Fire tested for 30 mins to BS 476: Part 22
Smoke tested to BS EN 1634 - 3: 2004
Application uses
- For use on timber doors that have been successfully tested for a period of 30 minutes in accordance with the criteria of BS 476 Part:22 1987
- Suitable for gaps 2 - 4mm
Features
- 5.2m roll
- Self adhesive
- Speedy installation
- No routing of door or frame
- Colour coded brush
- Available in white & brown
- Alcohol wipe & fire door stickers enclosed
Fitting instructions
- Clean surfaces with alcohol wipe supplied to ensure they are free from dust and grease
- Remove backing tape and position with brush against the door stop as indicated
- Apply to both sides over hinges and latch plate. With a sharp knife cut around the latch plate allowing the door to engage. Apply to top of door frame cutting in corners ensuring a tight fit
- For best results allow the adhesive to cure overnight
- Apply fire door stickers enclosed
