FGW/XL White Fingershield Finger Protector To Suit 180° Maximum Door Opening
The Fingershield Wide Door Finger Guard is larger than the standard Fingershield device as it has an extra centre panel (4 panels). It is specifically designed to be used on uPVC and aluminium doors and can also be used on doors which open further than 180 degrees. It provides finger protection by covering the gap on the hinge side of a door when the door is open.According to RoSPA, studies have found that around 40,000 child safety door accidents occur every year throughout the UK. The Fingershield door finger guards was developed to prevent finger-trapping accidents occurring.
The fingerguard is easy to install, remove and refit, making it a practical solution to your health and safety requirements.
The Fingershield door fingerguard need little maintenance once installed, just a simple annual check to make sure the device is functioning and all the screws are still in place. On a day-to-day basis they can be wiped down during your general cleaning routine. The hardwearing and durable design means that the Fingershield door finger guard can withstand years of knocks and bangs!
