Using their experience and expertise, the Doorfit team fitted a Garador Guardian Range Secured by Design up and over garage door, along with an ironmongery display board, to the property, which also includes a range of other features that are designed to enhance the security of a property.
All features within the house, including the up and over doors, were upgraded to the very latest standards, allowing members of the public to see and experience just what’s available today for their homes. This included doors, windows, locks, alarms and secure external bike racks, all of which carry the police-approved Secured by Design standard.
This facility has the honour of being the first of its kind in the country, and the reported benefits of the Safe House are extensive. Members of the public are invited to visit the facility at any time, where an officer will be present to answer any questions and discuss what’s been fitted in the property. This makes it the ideal place for the public to get reliable crime prevention input, information and advice, straight from the police, as well as it being a superb demonstration of how to keep homes safe from burglars.
