Dorma TS 92 and TS 93 Door Closers

It’s important that all doors in commercial or public service buildings, including those fitted in schools and hospitals, as well as other public buildings, are fully accessible for all users, including children, the elderly and the disabled.

In order to achieve this, DORMA have developed a range of door closers, the TS 92 and TS 93, which enable all internal doors to be opened with ease while still maintaining the required levels of fire protection.  That’s because these cam-action closers meet, and are fully compliant with, the requirements of ADM and BS8300, and have been designed for use with slide arms and channels, rather than exclusively with scissor arms.

In order to satisfy all regulations and requirements, both the TS 92 and TS 93 have been tested to EN1154 and certified to ISO 9001, so have been rigorously tested for reliability and durability, and are therefore perfectly suited for use with fire doors.

Both door closers have a variety of benefits, whether they’re used in the plans of architects, when they’re fitted by specifiers, or when they’re used by occupants of a building, and both have adjustable closing speeds and power settings for convenience and ease of use.  In addition, both the TS 92 and the TS 93 are certified and approved to CF119 for use on fire doors – up to 2 hours on timber doors and 4 hours on metal doors.

They also have variable opening angles, depending on the type of fixing used, so it’s possible to adapt them to the level of use they’ll receive, the environment they’ll be used in and the range of users they’ll have.

As these products are important for the safety and protection of the occupants of a building in the event of a fire, it’s vital that they’re fitted by professionals so that they’re reliable and functional at all times.

At Doorfit, we supply and fit both the TS 92 and the TS 93 door closer, and will be more than happy to discuss your requirements and advise you as to which system will be most suitable for the type and size of door you have, and the environment it’ll be used in.  Our team have what it takes to make sure that your fire doors operate at their full potential every time they’re used, and that they won’t fail when needed the most.  Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to find out more.
