Roughneck Door and Board Lifter

Moving and positioning doors, boards and large panels can be hazardous and difficult. Heavy lifting and repetitive tasks, such as lifting and manoeuvring doors into position, can cause back pain which, although likely to get better in time, can be extremely uncomfortable for a period.

In order to minimise the risks and assist with everyday tasks, Roughneck have developed the Door and Board Lifter.  Designed to assist when it comes to moving doors, large panels and boards into position, it is the ideal tool when hanging and fixing items, as it allows you to move the item up and down and side to side with ease.

As it takes the weight of the item you’re moving, you can lift and swivel it into position with one foot – or your knee – and thanks to the non-slip footpad, you won’t lose contact with the pad and accidentally drop the item.

It’s the perfect tool for those working in the construction or building industry, such as carpenters, plasterers, dry liners, locksmiths and builders, who need to lift large items regularly.  And because of its versatility, it can be used when fitting new doors, fitting plasterboard, and lifting other materials.

As well as being a useful tool, it’s also incredibly robust, being constructed using alloy steel, and has a working load of 75kg (or 165lb), so can be used in a number of situations and with a range of items.
