The Olympic and Paralympic archery teams have been utilising the new and recently refurbished facilities, as well as taking advantage of the state-of-the-art equipment to analyse their shots and overall performance.
In order to ensure that both the indoor and outdoor archery facilities are up to the high standards required by top athletes, Lilleshall have undertaken a major redevelopment of one of the buildings on the site – Sutherland Hall. Among other changes and developments, this has included the conversion of on-site offices into a suitable space for staff from the performance unit, and as a place to increase the amount of support available to athletes.
As part of this refurbishment, a purpose-built facility was constructed for use by the archers.
